body lift

check your body mounts now to see what sort of shape they are in. if the rubber mounts are still fine then this ebay deal seems pretty good to me. i'd keep an eye on the price though and maybe bid at the last minute (talk to joe for pointers on this )

Remember that when you instal a 1" body lift, you will either need to reposition your fan shroud downward by 1" or install 1" lifted motor mounts.
-
Fan shroud? What are those?
I guess having a 4 popper you would need one.
-
yes, the ventrical effect of the shroud make the fan pull the jeep though the air faster.
-
I have the poly body lift on my jeep and it came with brackets to lower the fan shroud, I have an electric fan so I didn't use them, if your kit doesn't come with the lowering brackets I should have mine somewhere. Just let me know.

Is that a Rubi thing? Or did you replace a stock fan with an electric one, one that was positioned differently? Did you have to install a new shroud? Just curious...
-
this one comes with the stuff to move the shroud and stuff
-
Oh, take the thing off....
As long as your fan is close to an inch away from the radiator you shouldn't need one. Of course, you'd probably have to remove the radiator to get the shroud off. In that case leave it on and lower it.
-
um 4 banger, means radiator is like a foot away, i think i need the fan shroud.
-
No....you need a 4.0 L. It's all in how you look at it.
