  • well after a new ignition module and coil we got Da Mutt fired up. For some reason the new thermostate didnt seem to open but she starts and runs fairly well. I still have alot to do to the thing to get it moving but it atleast runs.

  • Glad to hear it Tony. Now you just have to get it on the trails :rollsmile: . Well.....as soon as you can get it on the road first.

  • Yeah I have to run the brakes, build and install and clutch slave bracket, and rebuild the axles with the lockers and new gears mount the anti wrap bar and make shock mounts, oh and I have to install the gas tank to after that it might be trail worthy

  • You probably just have an air pocket trapped somewhere preventing the thermostat from opening. I had that problem and drilled a teeny tiny hole in the thermostat to allow any trapped air to bleed out.

  • yeah that is what I figured to I think I will pull the temp. sending unit out to see if that will help it flow thru hopefully I will know more by next weekend
