@Ajones11 - if you have a passenger side door surround laying around that you'd like to get rid of, please let me know.
@astape - sweet! You down in Newark at all this week? I (selfishly) wouldn't mind a second set of eyes on my clutch setup on the LS jeep. Or are you around this weekend for me to stop up?
Yeah I should. Were they all the same from 97-06?

If anyone has a set of TJ door surrounds laying around, please let me know. Figured I'd ask here before resorting to ebay...

Now that is a tow rig!

Depending on what you are towing with there are a few steep grades when nearing the park. If you have a decent tow rig it’s not an issue. If you are lacking power it can be slow going.
It’s an 4x4 Avalanche with trans coolers etc.
Not towing with an xj lol.

Awesome thanks for the advice

Good. All it’s got is 2 inches of lift and tires. What color trails can it do? I’m experienced with off road driving, just not the color coded kind lol.

My gp signed mine. Family history of skin cancer and added that “I don’t like people looking at me at stoplights “

How much of a pita is it? Good parking? Are the rd grades really severe up there ? I’ve been thinking about taking my xj..just not sure I want to drive it and risk it making it back. I have access to an equipment trailer and think that may be a better idea!

Still Have my 1996 XJ that i bought in 96 and i just turned 113,000 miles on her. It is now at my place in TN sitting in the barn at the bottom of the mountian with about a foot of snow to go and play in.
Funny mine has 113,000 too!!!
In 2 weeks I’ve already lifted it 2”, 30x9.5 tires and tj canyon wheels. Looks like I’ve got the bug again

I started out with ironically, a 1996 xj! (Guess things have come full circle). Then I had a 97 tj, then a 2000 xj. Took a Jeep break for a few years and now I’m thankful to be in a position to have a Jeep that’s not my daily driver!! . Now I can break it and still have transportation lol.
