Unsure if it's my state computer but I can't see your photos Billy. Just getting a big circle with a horizontal line through it.
Must be security settings. I'll fix it when I get to a computer tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.
After ripping my trackbar and hydro ram off the axle at RC a while back, I had Aaron put on a hybrid Ruff Stuff and Artec Industries bar.
I've always hated the Dynatrac trackbar set up for many reasons (single shear upper mount, shared lower mount, etc.) so I'm very happy with the changes. It's a good bit more solid that it was before.
Here are some pics:

I also added some LED's so I can gain some street cred.
Thats what I was originally thinking but I can see the tie dry rotting and the plate flying off on the road somewhere. I have seen the identical rack with tabs welded on for mounting the plate but have yet to see them for sale anywhere.
I run zip ties on my rack. The Jeep will be a rusty pile before the zip tie dry rots.
Got a picture of the rod holders mounted to the rack? I bought the same rack in aluminum for the rear of the Jeep. I don't want to put a full rack on the front because I think its gonna block too much of my radiator with the cooler, etc. I can just mount the rods behind the jeep as well.
Cooling won't be an issue. I have an ARB cooler on the front of my Jeep that covers the whole front of the Jeep and never have had a cooling issue.
Yo Fran!!! Great seeing you on here.
That was a crazy trip. Poor SLOPAR had a rough Big Dogs that year.
Convoys can be a pain in the ass, especially when they are mixes of trailers and Jeeps. I prefer mostly solo now...maybe one or two others max.
Is anyone planning on coming back Saturday night?
My wife kind of gave me the approval for this yesterday at the beach. Matt and Ed witnessed it but I'm not sure whether "Do what you want" really meant that I can actually do what I want. If I came back Saturday night, that may make my other half happier. Do you want to wheel or ride shotgun Stafford?
Welcome to DEJA. Hope to see you around.

My stupid dog ate my favorite Camelbak/man purse yesterday.
I immediately ordered another one specifically for this event. Team UNO will be prepared!
Cap II, the cage on my TJ is custom and creates 5 gallon ponds of water in these tops but the inside stays dry. Owning both, I'll say they are ten times better than Best top trail covers. You'll be fine.
Can you get me a total so I can PayPal you before you order? Otherwise I'll forget like I did with Ed.
I'm in for a TJ and JKU. By far the best top available. Mice at our old house killed the last couple.
I didn't take many pictures but here are a few. It was extremely fun day until I ripped my track bar off but then again, riding shotgun afterwards in a 600 HP buggy with a lead foot driver is fun also.

Public Service Announcement - Hatchets are not toys. If you've never used one before ask someone to show you what not to do. Rule number 1 apparently being don't use one when wearing flip flops, they don't provide as much protection as you'd think.....
We were watching her swing that thing from the parking lot and had a bad feeling about the technique.
Just wanted to thank everyone for a great time this weekend. Jay (Slowpoke) we really appreciated you leading us around all day - it was a great trail ride for us. Thanks again for pulling me off of those rocks! And great to share a couple of beers with the big tire crowd around the fire Saturday next.
How was your sisters foot? Did she get stitches? I saw her the next day and she was hurting.
I finally made it up around 10:30. There is room to park next to the Pete when you guys get here in the morning.
Well probably be up around 8 tonight. Anyone else camping tonight?
Aaron and I will be there tonight. Aaron will be glamping in the Pete.
I'm hoping to get there around 8 as well but I haven't done anything to get ready except change my tires out. It might be later.
Smiley/whypave will be up there and plans on wheeling reds with you guys, if anyone wants his # let me know by Friday night
I'll send him a message to meet up.
anyone have a open seat for Sat? Just me.
My cousin Andy talked about coming up but if he doesn't, I'll have a seat as well if anyone else is interested in shotgunning.
turbo the existing 4.slow. More components, probably more expensive in the long run than a new engine....!
I was looking at the Banks kit for my 4.0 but to do it fully with the intercooler would cost almost five grand. You are right that it doesn't seem worth it at all to do all that to a 4.0.
Think ill be heading up fri night and home after wheeling on sat.
I'll be up there Friday night as well. Maybe hang for a bit after wheeling if you can. It sounds like they have a bunch of things planned. Should be fun.
