Good to hear you got her fixed up. I thought a grd issue would be part of the problem, they can be a real pain in the @** to track down. Stomper knows all about grounds!!

The blinker relays are new from painless. I changed them from a pair I had on an old wire harness and didn't get anything to work. I bulbs are 194 which is what the Pep Boys book called for. I have trouble seeing how many filaments are in them anymore but don't know how many filaments are supposed to be in there. The side markers are single fil bulbs they are switched through the T/S unit to flash and when not turning they stay on as markers

I made a dual batt setup for my YJ. Very easy and cheap,I set it up with a switch on the dash up:batt 2, middle: off, down :jump start. Batt 2 is only connected when the key is in the run pos.I used a HD constant relay from NAPA and a 3 pos switch. Give me a call I can tell you haw to wire it,not hard at all.If you know basic wireing you can do it. Call my cell 610-585-7540 Percy

Had to replace the starter last week. It's a never ending battle!! Last nite at work I installed longer shackles on the rear to lift it just a bit (the rear was a bit low). Left side bolts came out no problem, bottom bolt on the right no problem, top bolt BIG PROBLEM!! The bolt was seazed in the bushing. So I drilled out the center of the bolt and snaped the head off, and attempted to drill out the bolt. No good plan2 drill out the bushing. Broke 2 bits and handled that.still couldn't get it out .so broke out the BIG HAMMER and punch (3/4 in)a hr later I was the victor Percy 1 Jeep 0!! 4hrs into it the job was done! So much for a easy job .

Well the 4.0 saga continues!! Over the Lobor day weekend I found a good running 4.0 Thanks Wickedwilles62 Started to yank the 1st replacement eng on Sun and finished on Mon and instaled the new one.Got it running about 4:30 only to have it shut off >:( found I pinched the CHS wire.Sooo off to Advanced Auto.Fired up again and promptly lost spark, pulled the batt cable hooked it back up Fired up did that 3 or 4 times then ran fine. Fast forward to last Sat 6 times it shut off and started back up ran great till Wed going to work, hit a bump and shut off and started fine. So I started checking wires. In the rush to get it hooked up and running Stomper forgot to tighten down the ground wires on the block above the starter ( I may have missed it but I'll blame Stomper) Now she runs great !!! It's great to have a Jeep with no oil leaks. Thanks to Stomper for all the help we got realy good at changing moters
