Set the new eng in yesterday,finished bolting it in today. Added a mtr mt lift. Stomper and i just took a lunch break and with a bit of luck we should be able to fire it up in about 30min.Still need to reinstal the ps pump,belt and rad and tidy a few things up.I can't wait

Well got a new(to me) 4.0HO from a XJ at work on Tue need to swap a few things over(water pump and a few mts).Stomper and I pulled my mtr tonite after work.hope to get the new mtr ready on Fri after work and put it in on Sat.Can't wait I miss my YJ Stompers F350 isn't a bad ride it's just not a Jeep!!

Lets see since Sunday I broke down on the Pa Turnpike at the 203.8 mm >:( Waited 5 hrs for my brother to get to me with a rented U Haul carrier. Got it to Stompers thought it had jumped time. So installed new gaers and chain no good sounded like it was running on 2cyls :o Today I borrowed a compression gauge #1 75 #2 105 #3 75 #4 120 #5 100 #6 100 So time to replace it started to pull it will finish on Sun Fun Fun should have started with a compression test!! Anyone know what the compression should be??

Installed my (new to me) Futura (Pep Boys)Dakota 33 X 12.50 tires ;D . My boss had them sold them to me for $200. Mounted them on my Soft 8s and balanced them with Equal balance powder . No vibes!!!

Installed the tube fenders on Sat (with Stompers help and shop).Not a tough job a air cuttoff tool is a great tool. The holes for the hood hold downs are in the wrong spot Stomper pointed that out,and I redrilled them today.They look good and got rid of a bunch of rust,and should hold up to trees(wait thats Stomper not me ).Next weekend shee hits the trails !!!

Pic#3 is the truck Ian (Extreme 4X4) had at tha show I think that is him behind the wheel. Glen great pics and you did get a shot with air under the front tire . Just to remind you, you are still short . As usual had fun camping even with the rain.Next year we need to get other DeJA members to camp and make a BIG Camp DeJA

Sat nite with Glen's help installed my dual trumpet horns on the inside of the rack. I bought them from the horn guy at the show, they are LOUD!! I would be installing the tube fenders tonite at Stompers but I pulled my upper back out carrying the*#@* back to the campsite. Last time I was in this much pain was after my bike wreck.

Some buddy you are! The look on her face when we dropped off the hill was priceless!! I haven't lost anyone yet A good weekend rained on and off Fri eve and overnite,a bit of drizzle Sat till about 9ish then just cloudy. Got some deals TUBE FENDERS!! It took 3yrs but I got a pair now to install them. Had a blast can't wait till next year.

I think I remember hearing you can swap a TJ downpipe into a YJ to gain clearance I am in need of doing some exhaust work on the YJ and may do this. Anyone do this??
