A guy in West Chester PA parts out TJ's Ive bought a couple things from him in the past. 610-496-1834 if I remember correctly his name is Dan.
Link to one of his listings on Craigslist. https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/pts/6123998888.html
I have purchased a few parts from this guy, and they were not the right parts for my build. If you use him, double check the part numbers.
I purchased this from Shadyluke because it was too good of a deal to let pass. I just wasn't 100% on what direction I wanted to move in with the dash. Now, I probably won't use this piece, so the first $220 takes it. Pajeepman I will give you first digs if you want it.
I will take it
Do you remember the brand or model info of that?
After doing some research, I'm kinda leaning toward going with the Genesis complete kit since they make a very clean install for about the same price as if I pieced it together... the main difference is that theirs is a smart link where it'll only charge one battery at a time, reducing strain on the alternator.
Here is the link to the isolator I use.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d…s=battery+doctor+isolator
It seems to work well, but I have only been running this set up for a few weeks. The isolator was about $70, the dual tray was about $120, and the wires were another $50 for the good stuff. I also added a 100 amp fuse between the isolator and the auxiliary battery. The genesis kits I see when I google them are $500. Perhaps the genesis offers more features, but I just wanted to run my lights and winch without worrying about a drained starting battery. Let me know what you decide!!
I am running a dual battery set up. My tray is Tomken Machine. It is well made and was close to $100, the down side was I ordered it from Quadratec, and it shipped from Tomken a month after I ordered it (It was back ordered) my isolator is off Amazon. I will send the link. It charges both batteries while the jeep is running, but only pulls from the auxiliary battery when the jeep is not running. If my starting battery does drain, I press a button, and I can jump from the auxiliary battery.
Yes. Everything is wrapped up and running/driving.

I am loving the 4.0!!! I am cruising on the highway, and passing cars in the fast lane (2.5 owners feel me in this!!!!). And every so often I notice some welding and other stuff Shadyluke did to tighten up the old girl. Couldn't be more satisfied!!!!!
Are you available sometime this week? Or over the weekend?

I am available in the afternoon most days this week and weekend (after 4:00) I may not be available weds. If you need to see them during the day, I can put them in my truck, and we can meet at work. I work 5 mins away from my house at Christiana hospital. You can text me at 410-660-7482. Name is Joshua.
I somehow ordered 15 inch wheels by accident. The cost to return them won't be worth it. My mistake is your gain.
procomp steel series 51 black. 5x4.5. I am also willing to trade for a set of 16x8-9 wheels.
I am still looking for wheels that are 16 x at least 8. The bolt pattern is 4.5 x 5. I need at least 4 inches of back spacing. The wheels I purchased will not work because they sent me 15 inch wheels, and I wanted 16. The price difference was doubled. So I am back to the drawing board.
u will want at least 8" wide and 4" of back spacing. any factory wheel is gonna be around 5.5" of bs.
@astape- will a 15x8 wheel with 3.75 backspace work?
7" wide

The tires I have are 315/75 16. I think 7 inches is too narrow. I will double check
I have a set of 5 16" liberty steel wheels from an earlier KJ. $125. Piant is peeling as usual for his style. I am in Norristown, pa 19403. If you truely want them, could get to West Chester near quadratec for monday through Thursday pickup around 5:30.

How wide are the wheels?
I am looking for 4 (or 5) 16 inch wheels 5x4.5 bolt pattern for a YJ. The tires are 315/75 16. So I believe I need 9-10 inches wide. I am not concerned about style, just function. Let me know. Thank you.
So Shadyluke is finishing up the install on the 4.0 motor in my Jeep. It is approaching the time to tackle the wiring. We are thinking we can wire in the two extra injectors into the 2.5 harness and plug the harness into the new 4.0 computer. Any one have Intel on this swap, and any other wiring issues we should expect? The details are 1991 2.5 YJ swapping a 4.0 motor from a 1996 Grand Cherokee. The computer is from a 1995 Jeep YJ.
I second on the voltmeter. Check your grounds. I have had similar problems, and found it was faster just to rewire the the sender to the gauge. Are your gauges illuminated?
Still have the hp Dana 30?
That is correct!!!
