has anyone done the auto trans vent relocation on there jeep?? asking where the best place to put the nee vent and how not to get metal in the trans?? Mike

I havent done it but I understand
If you use heavy greese on the drill and tap
then going very slowly it will catch most of the metal filings.. -
Could you use a magnet or something to prevent them from falling in? Maybe get a good magnet and put it on the drill bit to magnetize it?

Take pics as you do it. I've wanted to do mine but am also worried about the chips. Do a little write up and do us all a favor.
