Flexivent Soft Window Winders...

  • ...anyone use these things? Worth $30. Got wet this morning with all the dew from the windows and want an option to open some of the uppers. How will they do in cold weather? Should you "bend" the windows when really cold out? Don't want them to crack.

  • The REAL question is, "CAN you bend the vinyl windows when it's real cold out."

    The answer, "Not very well."

I wouldn't get them for winter time use. When it's below 70º, I've noticed vinyl gets stiff. I've unzipped my windows all the way and almost had to open the door to get the window to bend past the steering wheel. When it's freezing out forget about getting them to bend at all.

  • I got them for my b-day, but I haven't installed them yet.

I think I'll prolly wait until it gets warm out to put them on.

It requires some punching of some holes, and it made me a little nervous.

I'll have to go back and look more closely at the directions.
