YJ exhaust question

found my exhaust leak... the previous owner tried to cap the line that goes from the front pipe to the cat... ive heard of this being done...bit for pennsylvania emissions i think i may need the tube. anyone know what im talking about?? where can i get one q-tec dosent have it in their catalog...4x4hardware dosent seem to either

Check your local parts stores. I know when i worked at Pep boys they sometimes sold the tube seperate from the new cat converters. If they look at you funny tell them to look up a catalytic converter and see if it is listed on the same page.

Are you talking about the line that goes from the smog pump, to the exhaust manifold via a few check valves and such, and then down to the cat? If so you can make your own line out of copper tubing and some pipe fittings.
