taking in all the info you guys have given over my last few posts, I'm really thinking that I'm going to regear my d30/d35 to 4.56 and get 35x13.50 15's on 15x10's. If I'm 90 percent a dd, am I still just asking for trouble? Off-roaring ability aside, I'm a wide tire junky from pure asthetics of it.

umm...I 't think thats such a great idea.
1. krawlers on a DD are going to wear real fast. They are pretty soft.
2. krawlers offroad on a d35 is asking for trouble -
I understand the wearing fast but I don't think there is tire wider than 12.50 that will have any real longevity. All I found (besides Interco) were pit bulls and nittos which are both 14.50's and most likely require wheel spacers on top of the 3.65 backspacing my wheels have.

35" Krawlers will destroy a dana 30 and a Dana 35... they are heavy and were really never intended as a street tire....

found toyo mt 35x13.50 that seems to be a little road friendly. Anyone have experience with them?

I think you'll be fine on the street, as long as your not droppin the clutch and mindful that your axles aren't built for that size tire. You may increase wear on ball joints, ujoints, brakes, etc , but nothing that I think would make you wish you hadn't stepped up to the bigger tire. I have 14.5 in wide swampers on 12 in wide rims, they do look pretty wide. Oh and mine weighed 100 lbs each because their radials.
