93 4.0 auto trans. Use automatic trans fluid in the Transfercase? Safe to add some Lucas to it? Am I gonna need some kind of pump for the fluid or is the fill plug easy to get to? Thanks in advance.

I have ATF in the 231 behind my ax-15. I used a suction pump to get it in. Think plunger style turkey baster. Think I paid 10 bucks for it at Carquest. Comes apart to clean and is very useful to have.

Go to PepBoys and back in the section where they sell the fluids/filters they sell a filler hose that attaches right to the oil bottle. Cost like $4 bux and it even has a shut off valve that you twist where you can turn the bottle upside down and then open the valve to release the fluid. I bought 2.
