95 wrangler door question

    my friend has to change the locking mechanism in his doors. are there any tricks to taking the door panels off easily and without breaking the fateners or should i just count on buying new ones.

    If they're original there's probably not much you can do to keep from breaking them as they're more than likely brittle with age. Go to Harbor Freight and buy a trim removal kit. It's only like $6 and may save the plastic rivet/insert thingys on the panel. As for the locks and mechanisms inside the door..... good luck! Hope you got some small hands.
