Any recommendations for what thermostat to replace the one in my JK? Also any tips on doing this is appreciated.

Stant Superstat is what I've seen most people recommend. Used them a few times myself. Part # 45209 is for a JK. Same temp as oem, 195F. Sorry, never changed one in a JK..

New gasket a must, along with THOROUGHLY scraping all of the old gasket off, from both the block and the housing.

X3. Mine seeps when it get's very hot or when I pump it up with a tester. I wasn't a diligent with the gasket as I should have been when I changed my thermostat.
