the rear truckbes part of a comanchee MJ has a solid frame if it is close to the same sive and width as a wrangler could the bed of an MJ be grafted onto a Wrangler? it would be a cool project.

Lines would be weird. MJ bed sides are not flat panels like wrangler side panels are.

if you cut off the back of the tub, and finished the cab with a half top, you could slap on any truck bed, but the lines would not match as pajeepman said.
But if you used a step side bed. that would be more passable

A long time ago on CJ-8.com and maybe expedition portal(if you mean the grey one). IIRC it was built and sold without and engine.
