Donny your friend towed me

    I had to have the jeep towed back to my house from down the block today, and your friend with the 2wd white pick-up (john i think) did it for me. he seen the deja sticker on the window and hooked me up for the tow. and he wanted to say hello to you.


    Had to have it towed in reverse as I was sitting facing the wrong way. sure was tuff steering looking over my shoulder with no motor running. so I had no P/S P/B.


    not sure what happened to the jeep. I had a Wire melt under the hood. I'll tear into that maybe this weekend.

    Which wire? Is it related to the battery charging problem you just fixed?

    no not related, I think it burned on the exhaust and shorted out. either way my trip is cancelled to NC friday. I was gonna drive down for the FSJ invasion.

    Yeah, that was me. I posted on Donnie pulling me and my friend Tom out when his winch failed in Wharton.

    Was surprised to see the decal, but you're right that it helped convince me to stop. Guess that doesn't say much for my character! :laughing:

    thanks again John, I'm just glad there were no camera's to get a picture of a ford pulling my jeep backwards up the hill.
