Put new spring plates in

  • After RC, my rear shock mounts were pretty beat up so yesterday I borrowed Loki's garage and replaced my my spring plates with his old ones. It took just short of three hours. 2 hours for the driver's side and 1 hour for the passenger side. For some of the nuts I had to use a breaking bar to get them all the way off (what I would have not given for air tools yesterday). Here are the pix.

Couple more things and I should be ready for this weekend.

  • I usually just cut the U-bolts. A bit more expensive but I was typically changing springs or rears anyway. I'll be doing that again this summer, hopefully.
