how would you bolt a skid to the unibody under my xj?

which skids? some can use existing mounting holes, some need holes drilled.
I dunno what you mean, what skid? Why couldnt you Just bolt It up?
sorry... the tranfer skid plate. it bolts from the crossmember to
the unibody. How do you bolt it to the unibody
drill? pics would be good, are you sure It doesnt use the crossmember bolts or a preexisting hole thats taped?
pretty sure that chuckwick has the Tomken t-case skid on his. but, pretty sure there are different skids for 96 and 97 models.
I have the crossmember holes lined up but the there are no holes in the unibody.
I'd have to see what your talkin about but I dont see why you couldnt start drillin, get It started the use a self tapping bolt to do the rest....
Usually you have to drill or use those self tappers to attach to the unibody rails..
Today put it on. I drilled the holes in the unibody rail and drilled a hole in the side of the unibody rail just big enough to fit a small wrench in the hole to hold the bolt.
