motor swap

    If the weather is ok next saturday the 18th I am going to swap motors in my xj if any one wants to stop buy .

    That cool brian . I plan on getting as much done during the week as I can to make saturday easer on me . like the grill , radator and stuff like that .

    I was going to put the front of the jeep in the garage then tarp off the hole to keep the heat in .

    I will still be working on it haven't had a chances to start on it this week . Works been rough this week . And my father in law has my air compressor . So it all hand tools .

    Got the old motor out need to swap out a few things before I put the other motor in . But its time for lunch so I am taking a break .

    nice. What year motors are they? Because I have the 91 and a 96 and some of the wires and tubes are not the same. Will that make i harder during the swap or would i put all the 91 part/wire/tubes in the 96?

    I would put all the stuff off of the 96 onto the 91 motor .

    Got all of the wires hooked up and vacuum lines done . Just need to put the radiator , oil , trans fluid , starter , and antifreeze . I was warming my feet up and my shoe lace started to smoke a little .

    It's a 90 . I got the xj running today just need to put the grill in it and do the muffler on it .
