steering box replacement

  • anything weird I need to look for when replacing a tj steering box? other then making sure its centered before pressing the pitman arm on.

  • get a good pitman arm puller.....replacing the box wasnt very fun....it was actually tougher to get the arm back on then off if i remember correctly....i think you may need a line wrench for the hardlines going in and out of the box :hmm: we might have just made it work....i cant remember.

  • First is to make sure you're putting it on a TJ and not a CJ!
