Rebuilding the head - a link

  • Where did you take it? Christiana Auto does decent work and they are honest.

They machined my motor, crank, and head when I rebuilt my motor. A few years later I blew a piston going to a meeting. When I took it into them to press a new piston on they asked me to bring the head back to check it out. They then re-decked it and cleaned it up for FREE!

I must be the only CJ person they have going in because they know me as the guy with the Jeep.

  • John, I take it to American Auto Machine Shop that Aaron mentioned to me. They are right next to Route 141 and 4; I think the name of the street is Ayre (sp?). They arre good folks, and very pleasant to deal with.

    Here is the actual post:

  • I may look them up for working on the 4.0L head I got from Aaron. Thanks
