Man if I had the money. I constantly regret getting rid of my 79 CJ5!
I hope I don't regret it. I will probably have to ease the pain with the purchase of some new Jeep parts for the JKU.

That looks like a real good deal on a nice jeep! You people are crazy for not buying this. I would buy it but I'm out of garage space too.
Thanks Andy. The JKU cant wait to have a room inside the garage.

1980 Jeep CJ5 For Sale
This is my wife’s Jeep, but she has let me work (play) with it for the last 11 year, and she is ready to sell it. It runs goods and has had a lot of items replaced to make it dependable. The frame is in good shape with no repairs. The details are as follows:
- Engine: 258 straight 6 cylinder with Weber 32/36 carburetor.
- Mileage: 116,068
- 4 speed manual transmission
- 4 wheel drive high and low range with locking hubs
- Fiberglass body/tub by 4wheel drive hardware. The hood and grille are the original steel.
- Front tub bumper with grille guard.
- 4” suspension lift by Superlift, Currie greaseable shackles, including transfer case lowing kit, extended pitman arm, and extended stainless steel brake lines.
- Mickey Thompson MTZ mud terrain tires 33”x12.5”x15” (low mileage), mounted on the factory wagon wheels, pushed out with Spidertrax wheel spacers.
- Tom Woods rear drive shaft
- Aftermarket exhaust with Random Technology’s high flow catalytic converter.
- Frame mounted tube steps by 4wheel drive hardware.
- Halogen head lamps by Delta
- Addco sway bar with quick disconnect links.
- Bestop bikini top.
- Clean title.
This has been a fun toy for the family, but it’s time to sell is to make room in the garage for my JKU.
Price $5,500.00 or best offer.

The weather looks good for Saturday, but if nobody is up for 2/18, how about 2/25?
Hi Jay, I have to much going on this month, I'm looking at March.

Looks good Dan! Be careful what trails you follow these guys on!
Welcome Dan! Never under estimate what your JKU can go over or through!

Thanks Jay for the report and for showing us another view of TATAS. (that doesn't sound right). Jay is correct we covered most of the NE property, The details of our NE property
trip was as follows: We started out on N1 then into N2 and X4. Next we started our run of all the blues on the north side of the blacktop road. It started with 34 then to 37 and looped back to 31 and then to 32. On 32 Jeff pulled some cable to give Glenn a little help up a section of steep uphill with some nice size rock. Next we were back on the greens to get to the south side of the blacktop, this included X4, X1, N4,X3, and 40. Once on the other side of the blacktop the snow started slow, and then it really started coming down. We followed T to the muddy run hill to K. The next blue was 39. The way we were running the 39 loop it had a steep hill climb. By the time we made it to the hill climb the snow had built up enough to make the climb very difficult. Andy told us he was going to the top and he made it! With the snow coming down, we jumped off of 39 and on to K, K1, N3, to R, then R1 which loops around all of Roswell, Area 51 and Jurassic Park. We returned to take K to T, N3, N2, X4, X1, and then I tried to locate F to get the heck off the northeast property and to the parking lot. When we got to the lot it was 2:00 pm and Jay took us on from there. It was a great day and hope to see everyone on the trail again soon. -
I'm loaded and ready to go. See everyone at 8:30 at RC.
If anyone would like to meet at the Turkey Hill in Morgantown on rt-10, Jeff and I are meeting at 6:45 and heading up from there. -
