And a giant inflatable driver!!! Or do we already have some of them floating around? Just saying!!!
Also Smyrna Hardware is known to have alot of odd stuff. I haven't been disappointed yet
I'm gonna pass. Have alot coming up for Christmas. Enjoy
Definitely a attention getter!!!
Don't know what everybody else is planning... Going up early, convoy... The wife and I have decided to go up early, introduce ourselves and help with setup. See ya's there.
Tipping my hat at ya!! The recent trail ride at AOAA was my first with the Rubi.... Have to say, I thought u did a great job and look for many more in the future.
I actually like the wraith idea. With that being said, I have a winch. Maybe a gift card grand prize... From Quadratec or somewhere like that. Maybe let whoever wins, purchase what they may want. I think some good tow hooks as a door prize to me would work. Just saying Jeff.
Cornhole boards, hi-lift jack, go-pro, lanterns, flashlights, DEJA tumblers, and sleeping bags are a few items I can rattle off. I know a few people, let me see what I can get them to donate. Don't know if it will be somewhat big ticket items or not, will keep everyone posted.
The wife and I are in. Now to find the smallest $10.01 item. Ya know, negative attention is better than no attention!!
its suppose to slide a little. Its because its attached as the axle is articulating. Get discos for wheeling and it will relieve the bind when offroading.
I actually bought jks last week, just haven't had the time to install them.
Thanks for the info. If ur saying it's somewhat normal, and it's up to the comfort of the operator... I will monitor it and look into the clamps for future install
Hey guys, I was looking over my ride after the trail run. From being dirty I noticed the front upper sway bar bushings have a bit of movement. Is this much normal?
Love the tag! Good job on the build, looks good. That's somewhat of what I did because I took the rear seat out. Built a rear cargo area to hide the subwoofer and amp, figuring I would have the top off all summer and didn't want anyone to look in and see what I have. Didnt carpet mine, threw an old blanket on it and presto... Instant dog bed when he rides.
I want to say thank you to everyone. Being this was our first trail ride ever, we had a hell of a time. From eating dinner with Andy, (which afterwards he decided to go back to the hotel... Don't know if it was past his bed time or if it was due to the extra service he thought they offered) to exiting to the parking lot at the end of the day. And everything in between, including smelling something burning while behind Andy, I think it had something to do with his carpet, and being told that one should not wheel without hooks being somewhere on the jeep. Everyone made it an informative and enjoyable first journey. Can't wait to do it again, it was a blast!
Some pics from the trail ride.
