  • anyone up for helping with my motor, tranny, swap on Friday?


    I am swaping a 4.0 with aw4 and t case still atached as one unit into my cherokee. Removing old 4.0 and b10 tranny.


    If anyone is willing to help, let me know (what do I need to get to bribe you?)

  • one of the rods is egged, so it taps. been tapping for the last year, and i am removing the b10 because of its reputation.

  • You could get the crank turned and replace the rod bearings. Or, get a crank from a 258 and stroke that puppy.

    Heh...I think he's already ahead of you. He's got a second 4.0, 258 crank and rods, a crane cam, pistons, etc sitting around for a stroker build...this motor's just a temporary solution.
