Advice needed

  • Anyone running a 400R transmission or put in a transmission and realize you need a cover for the bottom of the flywheel? because thats what I did and the only dust covers i can find will only protect against just dust...i'd like to have something a little more water proof for obvious reasons. what have been some solutions to this problem or where can i find a strong water resistant cover?

  • A dust cover is normal. I don't recall ever seeing a trans with a totally sealed bell housing that was stock.

  • it is a sealed unit between the trans and motor , it is water tight with the main seal from them motor to the trans , the dust cover is just that so debree does not go between and wear out you seal water wil not bother it
