I actually had a great time at the DMV, (lane 3 if anyone wants to slide by today)
only thing he said was that I needed covers on my fog lights, I asked (nicely) Why? and he explained that with my aftermarket bumper they sit as high as my head lights so they need to be covered, I said that "that makes sense" and asked if I could just remove them and get thru, he said that would be fine.
So I figured I'd have to come back for a re-inspection...
after the brake check, the guy gave me my paperwork and said I passed, no need to come back!
The first guy didn't put the lights into the computer ;D
they didn't say anything about bumper height, DEJA sticker, tires sticking out (mine are only 1.5" out) OBII checked good.
and the reg line was really quick. $80 later and I am free for another 2 years.
I was gonna tell the wife they dinged me on tires, so that I could buy some 35's but I didn't think she'd buy it!
