Jeep got a boo-boo!

    - 258 I6

    - '93 Cherokee fuel injection and HO head,

    - bored 30 over

    - with 4x4 cam

    T18 tranny with granny low / Dana 18 t-case

    Dana 44 front and back from late '70s Wagoneer, both locked and loaded with 4.88 gears

    SOA on modified YJ springs with shackle reversa

    Fiberglass tub with 6 point cage mounted to the frame

  • Hopefully they can straighten that panel out.


    It doesn't take much tub damage to a Wrangler to make it a total loss.


    Or, just get some corners and cover it up.


    Does the tailgate still open? Looks like one of the hinges might be tweaked.

  • Haven't tried to open it yet, thanks for the heads up there. There's a small tear in my top but it didn't go all the way through and the small rubber lip piece broke off.


    Hopefully corner guards will fix/cover most of it, but still!!!!

  • I think they'll just replace the corner because it's separated at the top. It can be pulled out and bondoed easy enough but that might be more work to get it right. Most body shops would rather replace panels anymore.
