You're better off selling the lights and getting 12v lights.
-
well there $1200.00 for the Pair of them in eather 12 or 24 but deff didnt pay that for them.......
this things Light up the entire WAY....
used them in IRAQ on Convoy missions. on our Trucks.
LED so so nice. -
Wire two batteries in series. 12+12=24 You figure out how to charge them.
-
WoW really
never would have guessed that. -
Just use a single 12v battery and use a voltage doubler..
Here is a 1000 watt unit.

Now that Might be a good option vs adding another battery.
i will look into that a little more.
Thanks. -
If you go the voltage doubler route, which is a good suggestion and addresses the charging issue, youmay still have to add the second battery in parallel to get enough amps to run the lights properly.

i think he should be ok since he is using LEDs

Fwiw, the item deadfeat linked to is a 12v or 24v INPUT to 120v output. It's an inverter for running a laptop or similar. The 12v TO 24v converters usually are limited to around 10amps. That should be enough depending on the lights though. Maybe this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/370499995226 the issue is quality, though. You're talking shipped from overseas, unknown quality, no warranty.
