Hey Guys,
Im thinking about getting my flares rhino lined, but also thinking it may be easy enough and cheaper to do on my own with Duplicolor bed armor or something like that. Anybody have suggestions/ done this before?

I've tried the duplicolor. I don't like the texture of it. I use the stuff at Lowe's on my grill and cowl cover.

Whats the name of the Lowe's stuff? Do you have a picture of your grill?
I'm not sure the brand. It's labeled as truck bed coating. It's in the spray paint section. Just make sure you scuff it really good with a scotch brite pad or something similar.
Awesome looks great, you don't have any problems with chips or peeling? Ill definitely look into that, its gotta be cheaper then rhino lining
I did the 1st time I put it on. But that was because I didn't scuff it good enough. But it's $7 a can as opposed to the $300 Linex wanted. They wanted $600 to do my flares.
Do you have issues with it fading? I use the duplicolor and ussually end up touching it up every so often. At least the parts that havent already gotten rock rash touch ups. That looks good though.
It does fade a little.
You removed one of the most iconic parts of a jeep? Wow. It's your Jeep but just my personal opinion....
Yup. I think it looks good and I get A LOT of compliments on it.
I stopped at rhino liner to check on getting my flares done and they said $350.00 and no garantees it would hold up.
Rhino lining will fade fairly quick. I had my fenders Rhino lined years ago and they faded pretty quick and also doubled the weight of my fenders as well
Monstaliner is guaranteed not to fade or chalk for 5 years.
