New Guy (Rubi pics included)

  • I finally decided to sign up here, and will probably join DEJA soon.
I've been wheeling around in my Rubicon, and had an 01 Cherokee Sport before that. I live in Bear and am looking forward to participating in the events and gatherings. I've seen a couple of your rigs around town before, so it will be cool to meet you guys, and girls.

I am also in the Army guard, so hooah to all fellow soldiers.

Heres a few shots of me having some fun
(before I knew the Canal was off limits)

Yeah, they were. But I already got stopped by a Ranger and he told me the deal. He let me go without a ticket, so I wont be doing that again.

Glad you didn't get a ticket.

As a club we don't condone any illegal off-roading, including there.

    Nuff said. :peace:

  • Sweet rig ,wish my rubi had half doors
Is she black or patriot blue?
Oh yeah welcome to the club
Hope to see you around some time.

Its black- well brown most of the time ..

I am glad I got the half doors. The first few weeks I was really upset actually, and wished I got the full doors. But once I picked up some sliders, I was much happier...

  • The Canal is only off limits during the night time. You have to have a vehicle with headlamps during the day time if you want to wheel there.

  • the canal is off limits for wheeling period, your allowed on the paved roads only

The Ranger told me you can go on "maintained roads" which includes the cleared (dirt) paths. Once you head off into the fields you're in trouble. But I've actually only seen a Ranger down there once in 5 years.

Thanks to everyone else for the welcomes :wavey:

  • We're having a Canal Clean up on the 29th I think. Then its legal to go wherever needed :yevil: :suspicious:
