Gear shop needed

  • There is a fully stocked shop disguised as a large garage sitting behind his house. He doesn't have a formal business title associated with it, but rest assured he has all the experience and specialty tools needed to gear your Jeep.

  • So he do regear only, then i take my jeep to somewhere else to alignment?. Do i have to bring pinion, ring and master kit to him or he have it, i try to pm him but no response yet. Thanks

  • You will need to bring everything to him. He can probably get you close on alignment but he doesn't have any special alignment equipment like a tire shop will have.

The front end alignment should've been done in conjunction with the lift kit installation. But for regearing the axles, Slimer is correct. You'll have to bring all the goodies. See the quote below from him on another person's post a day or two ago.

Regearing: 2 sets of gears, 2 master install kits, and the install. I charge $250 per axle plus u bring parts and consumables, like oil, towels, brake clean, ect. Most shops are in the $4-600 range for install. Gears run around $200 each for a decent set and mi kits are about $150.
