I am getting sick of breaking CB antennas , so I just bought a 2 footer. Anyone else use a 2 ft ? Any issues on the trail?

I can't use my 4 footer because it won't fit through the garage door so I've been wondering the same. Please post back how it works and which one you picked up.

you could always add a spring base to the bottom of the antenna. How do you keep breaking them?

I have the 2ft firestik and it's fine on the trail. Never really tried for much further than visual range.

I had a Wilson flex antenna on my rig for several years until someone borrowed it... It completely flexes over on top of its self and never broke unlike all the fire sticks I've ever seen.
