    You used to be able to get a steel top like that for early CJ5s but the top was permanently mounted in place.

    i want to find one that slides over the cage and maybe zips up at the sides so that i could rin a halftop or a full top and keep the cage. Maybe a modifided on of those where is if from?

    Yeah...I had emailed this guy last week when I saw his post to see exactly what he wanted to demo. If you wanna run it he's got precut bars (main bar w/ the 2 front stringers) that he'll ship you along with the top in order to demo it. Check out the pics of it on an unlimited...looks really cool. I've got his contact info if anyone's interested...

    i was thinking maybe the top could still work with a full cage if you cut holes for the rear bars and then used some kind of rubber to seal it, you could connect and reconnect the bar when you take it on or off?



    just rying to think of a way to get this and still keep my new cage intact, i have wanted hard half top for a while now.
