TURKEY DRIVE--helping spread the word about the Toy Drive

Hey guys and girls.

Once again Grisillo's Thriftway is sponsoring our event this year. Again, like last year they are doing their annual Turkey Drive on Monday the 21st from 6am to 7pm. If there is anyway we can get a group to go down on monday night to donate turkeys we can probably get another plug about the toy drive mentioned. Last year the DJ mentioned us several times during the broadcast and also again on the air several more times before the event. If I'm the only one thats fine but my wife and I are going to go and do this again this year. Last year we had a good turnout but I understand this is last minute. I just signed Tony up tonight and until then I wasn't sure of the Turkey date.

If you can do this with us I was thinking about 6pm on Monday night. IF we can do earlier (say 5 or 5:30 ) let me know and I'll be there.

The Thriftway is in Penn Mart Shopping Center, on Basin Road (Rt. 141), across from George Read Middle School.

I'm going to try and make it Brian, but it would have to be 6 for me to get there from work. Do you want to meet in the school parking lot and all go over as a group again?

Yeah we can meet in the school parking lot across the street from the Thriftway. Then once were grouped up we'll go over and donate. By the way we usually go in to the store and buy our Turkeys from there. That we we are helping out our sponsor. He usually gives us a great deal on a bird also.

Turned out okay for a Rainy last minute thing. We had 5 guys and combined we gave 19 turkeys. WJBR also mentioned Deja but not the toy drive yet. Paul gave them the PSA and they promised to mention it on the air.
