internal slave cyl question...

    does an internal slave cyl use the front bearing retainer plate on the ax-15? the plate i have, the retaining sleeve is way larger o/d than the i/d of the slave.... :help:

    The ax-15 before 94 was internal. The plate is differwnt between the 2, but they are swapable if you have the original one. Also check the end of the shaft becuse they did change the size so the pilot bearing may need to be swaped. I have swapped a pre '94 tranny into a '94 by swapping parts.

    nice... so i need a pre-94 plate... pilot bearing looked ok on the new clutch kit i put in. seemed pretty snug to me anyhow.
