I have just bought my third jeep, but the other 2 were brand new. This is a 1988 and it makes a horrible sound when I start it. I want to bring it to a reputable jeep mechanic. Can someone recommend a good one. I am located in Chesapeake City, MD. Close to Elkton, North East, Newark, Bear, Glasgow, Middletown. Thanks.

My MIDAS friends on Kirkwood near Price's Corner are good and give a great rate. Talk to Richard, the Manager. Tell him, "the white Scrambler guy" recommended them.

Thanks for your help. My husband found out that one of the starter bolts was missing and replaced it and it rides like new now. I will keep the two shops recommended for the future in case we can't fix something ourselves. Good day to ride.
