The language is scary. Protecting US interests from piracy is important but not through the methods they are proposing.

A couple sites are going down tomorrow to protest SOPA/Protect IP. Most notably will be Wikipedia.
Google is only running an info link on their site but that is important in itself.
Maybe this will finally bring some people out of the dark on the issue.

I wrote letters to Rep. John Carney, Sen. Thomas Carper, and Sen. Christopher Coons. I actually got a nice letter back from Carper (assuming someone on his staff) basically saying I understand the concerns from both sides but for now I do not support the current bill. Which I already knew but wrote him anyway.
