which beach at henlopen?

hey guys, bought my permit and heading to the beach tomorrow to fish. just looked at the dnr website and see that there are three different beaches and crossings at cape henlopen. which is typically more crowded than the others? it looks like the herring point area is the largest, is that a safe bet to try out? any input would be great. thanks

Herring is usually the most crowded but it's arguably the nicest beach. Navy Crossing is the left a little before Herring and usually a little less crowded....try 'em both.

Herring is now blocked off near Gordon's Pond for the Plovers. It's a wider beach but tends to get more crowded than Navy, especially during Plover season when people are more compressed.

I've been out quite a bit this season and haven't had horrible crowds at either one. Maybe I've just been getting lucky though.
