I found an extension for Chrome the other day that is pretty cool. It is called Exif Viewer. Whenever you are browsing a web page with photos, it automatically displays basic Exif in the top left corner of the photo.
Exif Data

I saw a bunch of people post a news video about this the other day. The latest FUD is that supposedly child molesters are or could use this to view geolocation data stored in there to find where little kids live or play because people are too dumb to figure out how to turn it off on their smartphones. I just use it to stalk hot chicks who are 21+ which is, of course, completely socially acceptable.

Pretty sure Facebook strips the exif data from anything posted there.

Thats what gave me the idea to look for it, so I could check my facebook photos to make sure they have been stripped. But after I downloaded it and checked a couple photo sites...I found it helpful to view setting. Most of the ones posted on here are stripped also, but some of them show up. Not the GPS, just the camera settings.

There are apps for Apple and Android that will strip the EXIF data when uploading.
