damn, ill be out of town that weekend. Riverfront? it's a beautiful place to do a 5k, and good ending points
-
It's all good Dave. Just trying to see if anyone wants to join me. I know it's last minute and it's the Club Comp weekend but still figured I'd put it out there.
-
I'm involved in a river clean up that day unfortunately.
-
I think I can, as long as I can get all the kids dropped off in time to get up there!
Got myself signed up! -
Looks like my river clean up will be cancelled so I should be able to make this. I'll have to find my Jeeps for Joy t-shirt!
-
There's a possibility I won't be there now...

Sorry guys. Had a baby and will be leaving the hospital that morning. Will have to see how it goes and be a game time decision.

Congratulations! I guess that's as good a reason as any. I'll be running with my Jeeps for Joy shirt on.

Thanks all. Looks like we are getting early discharge today so I should be good to go for the race tomorrow.

Thank God for nice weather. We had a good run followed by some free food and beverage at the Blue Rock stadium. I really wanted to see Ronald McDonald lead the way but he was a bit out of shape and I don't think he clown shoes would work too well running.
As we sat, hot and sweaty from the run, we contemplated running through the sprinklers on the ball field wondering how far we could get before security came and got us. It was really tempting!
For those who run, the Wilmington River Front area is a nice flat course. There are a lot of 5K events held there throughout the year.

Thanks so much for coming out to run John! And thanks Jodie for showing up (even if it was a little late and hungover )
-
I'm wondering what that guy cheering us on thought when I ran by yelling, "Hey WOODY!"
He looked like Woody to me but I was a bit tired, and cramping from dehydration. Didn't find out until later that Woody was in Florida.
