Why not just drive over a fire hydrant?
my dad would do that to get salt off the underside in the winter.

The mud is good, keeps the road salt from sticking in the winter.

Yes, we did the 101 course on Sunday. It was great. The lift and the tires made a huge difference. I could tell my jeep was having a much easier time than the stock ones. I might have to try some black trails next time.

I just peel off the mud stickers........
I do the same after every trip including the beach. Probably overkill but since the Jeep rarely sees rain I figure better to be safe than sorry.
last time i got my jeep covered in mud was at Gwnf I slung mud all the way back ti yhe dc belt way lost part of a driveshaft also
i like the sprinkler idea however, i wonder if a spinning type would clean better?
