What should I disconnect besides the battery on a 2015 JK before welding?
Might try and get around to making some lower control arm bracket skids this weekend and don't want to fry anything.

You probably wouldn't have an issue anyway but the JK's are so electronics heavy that the 30 seconds it takes to pop the terminal off would be a good idea. Otherwise, burn away.
I've never had any issue welding on mine with just the battery disconnected.
Kinda figured as much...But after reading whats on the internet on this, one of two things will happen.....My Jeep will explode and kill a bus load of nuns driving by....Or Don't worry about it, nothing bad will happen.
I need to do the same thing on my wife's JK. I understand there is a code you need to make the radio work after you disconnect the battery. I haven't looked into this, but it's been a convenient excuse for a while now.

That's news to me. I've changed batteries a couple times and killed it more than a few and the radio always held the data and worked fine after.
I weld on mine all the time & have never disconnected the battery, never a problem , just make sure you have a good ground
