Posting for a friend ( @DMorris) who is too embarrassed to admit he bought a JK on 37's with no lift. Talk about slamming the tires in with no clearance. I know nothing about these fancy JK things (or TJ's now that I think about it) so I'm asking the club.
So he's looking to do this thing right and take it down to 35's and put a mild lift on it. 2012 JKU Sport. 98% street with maybe a once a year trip to Rausch for blues. His teenage kids will be driving it occasionally so it needs to have close to a stock feel on the road. He's already bought a new drag link, tie rod and stabilizer because of the way it drives on 37's. No plans on doing anything like gusseting or trussing the front axle. Cost isn't a huge issue, don't want to waste money but willing to do it the right way. Springs and shocks, not just spacers.
So...question is...what's the best lift for him?
