Jeeps for Joy Raffle

  • I was wondering if anyone knows anyone who would be willing to donate some items to a raffle for Jeeps for Joy. I'd like to do one at RC the day of the benefit. I'm going to contact Quadratec this week but I wasn't sure if any of you guys knew anyone from any other organization. If we end up with a lot of raffles we could hold onto some for the toy drive weekend also.

Give me some ideas or feel free to contact anyone you know.

    Thanks

  • check out 4wd hardware if they give us a club discount perhaps they will dontate a couple things too

zach (atoz) sometimes helps out too

    holly oak??

  • 4WD Hardware is a good Idea. I'll talk to Paul and see what contact info he has. I already contacted Damutt's Offroad, Holly Oak, Extreme Radiator, Appalachian Offroad, Adrenaline Offroad, A to Z Fabrications and Blue Torch Fabworks. My only concern is that not knowing anyone personally at most of those my emails will probably get tossed. Chris Hall gave me the name of the person at Quadratec so I'll try him also.

I'd like to have some big raffles (ie winch, lift kit, tires ect...) if possible. That way we can raise some big money for the event.

  • I'm thinking the most common size tire that the majority of the club is running would be a 33X12.5X15. Could be an allterrain or mud terrain. A set of 4 would be nice but 5 would be better.

Let me know I was going to contact Tire Rack also, so if any of you guys know someone over there let me know.

  • I thought Holly Oak was closing?

2020 Gladiator Mojave - 33" Falken mud tires, LoD side steps, Zroadz bed rack, Quadratec QRC winch bumper, Superwinch EPi 9.0, Kleinn on-board air, Kleinn air horns, lots of lights, Yaesu ham radio with GPS tracker.

Gone- 2012 JK Rubicon with stuff. Long gone- Long-arm 2001 Cherokee with stuff.

  • Okay I added OK4wd to the list I contacted.

As far as Holly Oak closing its doors Brian would be the one to ask. Last time I talked to him (2 wks ago) he didn't say anything to me about it. In fact I asked him if he could quit his job and go full time with "Holly Oak" and he said work wise "yes" but his wife was going to be going back to school for Criminal Justice and that he had to keep both going to support them while she was in school.

So I don't think he's closing up but I'd have to ask him point blank to get an answer.

  • The guys at Northridge4x4 are great people, they may help out. Doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe Tractor supply, they have high-lifts and warn products along with straps and all. Just an Idea.

  • I already contacted 4X4 Rockshop and Northridge 4X4 but I'll send one out now to Redrock 4X4.
As far as Tractor Supply, there's a new one opening up about 2 miles from my house so once its open I'll stop in and see what they say.
    Thanks and keep em coming.
