Looks like its been off for a while...It was on there before I went wheeling this weekend !?!? All I know is that U-joint has been in there since I got the jeep. Who knows when it was last changed. I don't think that it was greasable either.

Looks like the outer shaft is shot as well.
-
Oh yea, that thing looks ovalized!!
-
well thats gotta suck

You have a set of spares (two if I'm not mistaken) so just throw a new long side in there and keep on rockin'.

-
Yeah, the set I gave you had the 760s in it so it sould hold up at least 15-20 min on the trail with your driving.

Look closely at the pictures. Can you spot what else I was missing? Found a nice suprise when I went to work on it today.

unit bearing bolt ???

Damn your quick. Yup, was missing one. Luckily I bought a couple extra when my axle shaft broke on me at the pines over the winter.
Them suckers are expensive! they were like $5 / piece at the stealership! From now on I'm scavenging them at the JY

A little DuckTape will fix you right up.

If u are only missing one cap you should be able to reuse that shaft, check it when you remove for a possible spare use.
