Last week I picked up a 07 jku x for my wife really enjoying it
What have you done to your Jeep today?

-
New bumber for the tj
-
Nice JK TJ bumper looks good.
-
Thanks, a friend of mine altered the bumper to add the light ports and hitch
-
Added about 30 more HP to my storage cabinet....
-
Installed Boostwerks HD TC shift linkage. Shifts solid now and no more rattling from the lever due to worn out bushings.

Found a set of clear 2014 oem turn signals on ebay for $30 and free shipping. Came complete with the amber bulbs. Took all of about 3 minutes to put in.
-
Re-assembled my soft top frame. Used conduit anchors for the hinges. It started raining so I haven't had a chance to test fit it on the Jeep yet. Pics to come...
-
Finally got some pics of the green led's I installed in the lift gate. Wired them to come on when the gate is raised and shut off when it's closed. Installed a switch so I can turn them off if need be with the gate up. They are bright.

Maintenance on Jen's WJ before winter....new headlights to get rid of the foggy old ones, 3/4" front spacers to level the IRO lift out, new brakes all around, new front unit bearings, 1.25" wheel spacers, new GY Duratracs in OE JK size, and some trimming/spacing of foglights to clear the tires since they're noticeably taller than the stocker JK rubber despite being the 'same size'.
Just gotta replace the partially burnt out instrument cluster bulbs with LEDs sitting on the kitchen table and repair the heating element in the driver seat bottom and it'll be all ready to tackle the snow banks at the mall.

My YJ finally has rear shocks. I installed some 14" Bilstien 5150's. Now if there is ever another earthquake my jeep might not bounce as long in the garage.

You have a jeep? -
Finalized the rear suspension. Hopefully the front doesn't take another year.

Looks good. I was wondering how you were making out.

Looks bad ass! I'm diggin that axle truss too. Was that a kit or all custom for the 4 link?
-
It's an Artec truss and the brackets are a mix of Artec and ruff stuff.

Added lights under the Tuffy tailgate enclosure, which I installed earlier this week. Used a strip of LEDs from superbrightleds.com, cut it into three sections and wired it to my auxiliary fuse box. There's a switch under the left side of the enclosure to turn it on and off. I thought about wiring it into the dome light circuit, but the switch gives me more options.
Very bright, I need to think of ways to use these elsewhere in the Jeep. Or at least upgrade the dome light.

Can you switch out the dome light bulb with an LED? I did mine in my XJ but to be honest they were too bright. So I switched out the white led's for Green and it suits me much better. -
Installed the Daystar hood cowl on my JK. Looks pretty good. added it for 2 reasons.
1. when towing, under hood temps raise (trans cooler) and this will help air things out a bit. (yes it has a hole through the hood)
2. now i have 2 hood squirters and they hit the right spot in the windshield. -
Changed the oil and rotated the tires, ready for winter now
