21 March 2009 - Rausch Creek trail ride - discussion and pics

    I have a 90 4.0 motor that runs fine, if you can find away to make it work its yours. Its just the block in the head...not sure if it will work with your 94 accessories but if you can find away you can have at it.

    Yes, my Brother WAS STRANDED before ,we had no other choice,it was requested BY TOWING CO. to bring it to the lot."quotefrom driver" I don,t have 4x4 if I GET STUK BACK THERE ITS MY A#*,WE WINCHED A LITTLE AT A TIME TO tHE CLEARING.     No thats the thing, I was out of the park, I was in the parking lot. not back on the trails.

    I remember 15 +yrs ago they would come out just about anywhere :driving: and throw that hook out and drag ya,
    but ,CASH on the spot! :shrug:
    makes me want to invest in a tow dolly.

    The good thing is that you got your Jeep to Newark, lesson learned. Maybe we should think about a community tow bar or two? That a least would get us away from the park (or further).

    I drove it 30 miles to work and back yesterday :razz:....It was only scary on the way home when i realized my front shock came disconected somehow and my front track bar was a bit loose. Deathwobble on the Delaware Memorial Bridge is not fun... :driving:

    I have tow bar i will try to fabricate couple more brackets for it when i find a little time!With trouble Andy had with AAA good idea!just upgraded my AAA to premium plan will tow up to 200 miles,but if they dont pick you up at park what good is it?

    Next time something happens we should just ask Lynn or someone who has experience with AAA at the park. Maybe you just need to call the right tow company.
