WTB - TJ - Manual Trans, 6 cyl

  • Hey guys, blast from the past here (I was the original owner of the white cherokee that was the club rig for a while).

Anywho, I'm back on the east coast for a couple weeks and I'm looking to buy a wrangler. Anything that has a manual trans, 6 cylinder, and less then 150k miles on it is fair game. I'm not looking to spend more then 7k. Body condition is not very important, but drive train must be in good shape. The less time it's spent off road, the better.

If anyone knows of someone with one to sell, please let me know

    Thanks!

    Tom Halladay

  • Welcome back. Here's a few I see every morning. They're used car lots and I have no personal knowledge/experience with them but it can't hurt to take a look. All of these lots are right at the Rt.13/Rt.40 split.

Clean Cut Auto has 1 but I think it's a YJ

Spitelli Auto has 2 or 3 (all TJs I believe)

    Angelo's Auto has 1... pretty sure it's a TJ

Your life is made up of 2 dates and a dash... make the most of the dash!

  • Well everything I own has a price tag. I have a 97 TJ with the 4.0 and the newer 5 speed (nv3550). Its not the best looking, but far from the worst. 4 inch skyjacker, sye kit, adjustable rear upper control arms, Dana30 Spartan locked with 3.07's (4.10 ring and pinion with master install kit, both new in box), dana35 open 4.10, 33/12.50/15 goodyear duratrac's. Other then these things it's relatively stock.

I have been tossing the idea of another Xj around or even a yj, so if I know I have an offer I may go for it.

    Price $6000

  • Thanks for all the input guys. I actually found one on AutoTrader that I bought this morning. It was pretty much stock, which is good because I wanted to build it up msyelf this time around ;)
