Wtf

    I just bought acos adjustable spacers for my tj. To install, I need to drill three holes up thru the spring perch. For some reason, I just can't f***ing drill these holes. I've tried 3 sets of drill bits (2 new, one of which is cryo treated) and at this rate it's going to take 90 min per hole (1/4 pilot, 3/8 final).


    I DO have the drill spinning the right way
    I am keeping the drill on the slower end of the spectrum
    The bit is NOT spinning in the chuck
    I am checking bit tip temp and applying oil as needed
    I am using moderate pressure on the drill


    WHY ISNT THIS WORKING????

    U have to get an air gun and clean out the top of the cup. There is so much sand and dirt it is instantly dulling the bits. Just a guess.

    Let us know how these work out. I have been eyeballing them for a while but didn't know anyone that had installed them on their rig.
