Ok, I have been emailing back and forth with Zach and have decided I'm going to have him make up a set of rock sliders from wheel well to wheel well with the round tube and a custom plate step between tube and the rocker. For you guys that have bought his product, have you had it powder coated or did you buy it bare steel. I'm not sure what way to go, I was thinking bare steel and I'll shoot it with rustoleum Bed liner spray.

Mine were bare steel . Painted them semi gloss black. Easier to touch up IMO.

I'd go bare steel and use some good self etching primer and some paint, and touch up as needed. Powder coating is a waste and is a pain in the as@ to deal with once it chips and starts to peel.

I also got bare steel and painted for the reasons above

Paint.

Powder coat. It shines better under the lights in parking lots.

Mine are powdercoated from AtoZ but only because he didn't have any bare ones in stock when I ordered. I'd say the powerdercoat has held up pretty well over the past ~5 years, better than I would have expected but unless you can get it for free I'd also recommend going bare metal.

Mine were powder coated. I just give any scrapes a shot of black Rustoleum. I can't notice any difference afterwards (although I've never checked under the lights at the local parking lot).

Bare. I use a good mil spec primer (work) and vht roll bar paint. Skids, rails and bumper. Easy touch up every couple years
